Rubber Speed Bump for Parking Lots and Garages

Control traffic with this 2.5-inch-high rubber speed bump. Designed to slow vehicles to 2 to 5 miles per hour, it is ideal for parking areas, drive lanes, and access roads. Built from flexible recycled rubber, it conforms to uneven surfaces and stands up to wear from weather, heavy traffic, and cleaning equipment. Each section measures 6 feet in length and is part of a modular system. Combine multiple units to span drive lanes of any width, or trim sections with a utility knife for a custom size.

Speed Bumps with Molded Reflective Tape

Visibility is one of the most important safety features in any traffic control setup. Each 6-foot speed bump section comes with molded-in yellow reflective tape that includes embedded glass beads to catch and reflect light from vehicle headlights. For locations with minimal lighting or high nighttime traffic, optional cat eye reflectors can be added to make the bump visible from a distance, both during the day and at night.

Easy to Install Speed Bumps

This rubber speed bump can be installed on both asphalt and concrete using basic tools and the proper hardware. We recommend using both adhesive and mechanical fasteners. Whether you are working on a flat road or an inclined surface, proper anchoring helps keep each section in place. The installation hardware is sold separately, but you can find kits for both surfaces here at SONCO!

PRO TIP:
Add Signage to Reinforce Speed Control

Speed bumps are most effective when drivers know they’re approaching. That’s why it’s a smart move to pair your rubber speed bump setup with clear, visible signage. Use “Speed Bump” or “Slow Down” signs to inform drivers in advance and guide them to reduce speed safely. At SONCO, you’ll find a wide selection of traffic signs, sign posts, and mounting hardware!
